Leak rates within the system are unserpassable, with a combination of Valco™ valves and fittings throughout. All metal on metal joints are sealed using gold ferrules providing a guaranteed leak rate of <10e-9 cc/atm/sec. As standard the system comes with a single sample inlet for large sample flasks of between 250 ml and 15L. It is, however, also possible to upgrade to a 16 sample flask auto-sampler. These systems are custom made to fit the bottles you require. It is also possible to attach the system to Gilson or GC Pal auto-samplers if required.

The Trace Gas Configuration is one of the most flexible and versitile units on the market today. This configuration combines an independent cryo-focusing system with an unparralelled gas purification and sample injection unit. With this system it is now possible to take multiple aliquot samples from each sample bottle, enabling better than 0.1 per mil precision as standard, even on trace gases such as N2O. Furthermore, it is possible to run multiple gas species from a single flask. For instance, you can now place a sample bottle on the system and obtain isotopic numbers for the CO2, N2O and CH4 all in the same automated analysis. |
